THE BULLSEYE PROFIT PROCESS

The Bullseye PROFIT Process is a 6-step approach to developing and implementing control systems to match the needs and dynamics of each individual restaurant

Policy: Identify the company’s financial goals and operating policies and procedures.
Responsibility: Define management responsibilities for control of cost and profit centers.
Objectives: Develop target performance standards that reflect the company’s goals.
Feedback: Build an information system that yields accurate and timely measurement tools.
Integrate: Merge information systems and incorporate analysis tools into daily management.
Train: Educate and motivate mangers and staff to utilize, maintain and support the systems.

The control concepts and methods are similar for all restaurants, but the operating targets, implementation strategy, and application is unique for each operation.

HERE’S WHAT WE DO:

  • Develop operating standards and procedures and identify management responsibility for the control areas (Food & Beverage, Labor, Operating, or Sales).
  • Use the established standards to develop operating targets for each control area.
  • Create DAILY, WEEK-TO-DATE, and MONTHLY Reports to measure performance.
  • Install Back-Office Software to apply control procedures, calculate expected results, capture actual results, and generate performance reports.
  • Integrate software with existing POS, Accounting, Purchasing, and Payroll systems.
  • Teach management to use the system and how to utilize information from the performance reports.
  • Teach accounting staff how to import data into the G/L and how to cross-check management input.
  • Provide on-going management consulting and training to keep you in control.
