Communication

Manager Log: Online log allows managers to add tasks, events, messages, staffing notes, log entries, and checklists.

File Manager: Online document storage available to Ctuit users.

Forecasting: Create simple or complex forecasting tools.

Payroll Validation: Set and apply rules to flag problems and have managers certify payroll before processing.

On The Fly App: Use Ctuit on a phone or tablet to get reports and messages and do functions such as inventory counts.

Ctuit Schedules App: Allows employees to use their phone or tablet to get their schedules, submit schedule requests, trade shifts, send messages, and get announcements. (add-on)

Cost Of Goods Sold – Cost Control

Modules below are optional and have monthly fees.

Accounts Payable: Enter invoices using inventory items or by GL code.  EDI invoicing is available from some vendors. Invoices can be exported to different accounting systems.

Inventory: Maintain inventory items and use for inventory counts, invoice entry, and as ingredients in recipes.

Recipes: Use inventory items and other recipes to build recipes and link to product mix from POS to generate theoretical costs.

Using all 3 COGS modules allows users to get actual costs for the period and compare to theoretical cost to perform ideal analysis and use for manager performance evaluations.

Labor Cost Control

Labor Scheduling: Labor cost control starts with scheduling.

  • Templates show how many employees are needed for each job at different times of the day.
  • Use Ctuit shift rules and auto build to create templates based on selected metrics applied to forecasts and trends.
  • Incorporate sales forecasts to project scheduled labor.
  • Variance reports compare scheduled and actual labor.
  • Export schedules to POS systems to apply clock-in rules.

General Ledger Sales

GL Sales: Enables Ctuit general ledger functions.

  • Map POS sales types to GL codes for internal reporting and exporting to accounting systems.
  • Sales Journal shows daily breakdown of Sales mapping.
  • Accruals and journal entries can be created directly in Ctuit.
  • Budgets can be created for selected GL Codes.
  • Ops Statement reports show sales, cogs, labor, controllable and noncontrollable expenses for the period and compare to budgets and past history. Daily Ops shows one week.
  • General Ledger Reports show detailed tracking of posted entries for each GL code or summary level totals.
